Starting from
Per person (Marangu Route)
Mount Kilimanjaro offers multiple routes to the summit, each with its own unique character and challenges. From the comfortable hut accommodation of the Marangu Route to the scenic beauty of the Machame Route, and the remote wilderness of the Lemosho Route, there's a path suited for every adventurer.
Our experienced guides will lead you through five distinct climate zones, from lush montane forests alive with colobus monkeys to the otherworldly alpine desert and finally the glaciated summit where you'll stand on the "Roof of Africa."
The "Coca-Cola" route with comfortable hut accommodation
The "Whiskey" route with spectacular scenic views
Most scenic route with highest success rates
Known as the "Coca-Cola" route, Marangu is the only route that offers sleeping hut accommodation instead of camping. This makes it popular among trekkers who prefer more comfort during their climb. The route approaches Kilimanjaro from the southeast and is considered the easiest path to the summit, though it has a lower success rate due to poor acclimatization profile.
The "Whiskey" route is one of the most popular and scenic routes on Kilimanjaro. It approaches from the southwest and offers spectacular views throughout the trek. The route is more challenging than Marangu but provides better acclimatization opportunities with its "climb high, sleep low" profile. Accommodation is in mountain tents at designated campsites.
Considered the most beautiful route on Kilimanjaro, Lemosho approaches the mountain from the west through pristine rainforest. It offers excellent acclimatization and the highest success rates. The route provides stunning views of the Shira Plateau and allows for a more gradual ascent. It's perfect for those seeking a more remote and less crowded experience.
